Benefits |
| Communication and Notification |
| IMPs are portals that have full communication abilities.
Each IMP forms a part of the client's communication network, enabling
broadcasting, group-casting, and peer-to-peer communications. |
AppWares bypasses web pages and email to give direct, monitored
and administered communications to the target audience. |
| Customization |
| IMPs are created to reflect our client's organizations,
and the inherent functionality of their products or serves. IMP interfaces
are limitless in design and functionality - from desktop portals,
to specialized toolbars, to notification applications, to graphic
characters. |
Information and media is easier to use and manage when desktop clutter
is reduced and only the most relevant content is delivered through
an intuitive interface. |
| Multi-media display |
| IMPs can display any media source supported by
a browser in addition to native boundless media display format. This
includes HTML, Flash, video, and audio sources. Multi-media display
can be real-time or cached. |
Information delivery is not limited to standard means such as text
and documents. Video, audio, HTML, Flash files, and many other formats
are all easily disseminated to IMPs via dedicated channels. Administrators
of the MyApp system can also determine whether the media is real-time
or cached. |
| Cross Platform |
| IMPs are functional on Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000
XP, and CE (in development). In addition, IMPs are fully functional
on Linux operating systems. |
AppWares IMPs are the first windowless applications with mini-browsers
to run on both the Windows and Linux operating systems. This addresses
the growing Linux community, specifically in government and education.
A CE compatible version of the IMP is currently in development. |
| Media Encryption |
| All IMPs and media files both distributed and created
in AppWares Producer is protected in encrypted state. |
Media is safeguarded against piracy. This prevents use of media
files in such programs as Napster and other file sharing programs.
|
| Client broadcast/content control |
| Administrators can control the communication channels,
and determine the type of channels in their AppWares application:
central broadcast, peer broadcast, and peer2peer channels. Administrators
can also control the breadth of the communication network, and monitor
activity within communication channels. |
Administrators can target communications and monitor activity of
the IMPs. The easy to use MyApp broadcast center enables managers,
system administrators, and support staff alike to broadcast their
message, regardless of the level technological knowledge. |
| Data transfer and caching |
| IMPs enable the interruptible and transparent downloading
of information. Once downloaded, information can be retrieved and
catalogued, regardless of the connection type or speed. |
Interruptible and transparent downloads enables proactive targeting
of file transfer. Because file downloads are interruptible, data can
be passed to end-users regardless of their connection speed or quality
- downloading files can resume if interrupted, and will viewed only
once completely delivered. |
| Rapid Prototyping and Development |
| AppWares' Producer allows for the rapid prototyping
and development of custom IMPs. Clients are given control of the look
and functionality of the IMP |
Any AppWares application developed can be quickly integrated into
new or existing corporate initiatives, without any loss in efficiencies
or productivity. Clients can play and active role in the development
cycle. |
| Remotely Updateable |
| All components of AppWares applications, including
the System itself, are 100% remotely updateable. This includes content,
appearance, functionality, communications, and infrastructure. |
This allows for reshaping of the application to fit new initiatives,
without users to actively re-acquire (download) their client application.
|
| Tracking |
| AppWares MyApp tracking system gives clients the
ability to track and monitor all events activity resulting from their
IMPs, as well as within the customer communication network. |
Clients can actively monitor the impact of their communications,
user transactions, and response rates, and calculate their ROI. |
| Security |
The IMPs themselves and the MyApp Servers have
Multiple security layers, including:
- Proprietary hard encryption within the application
- SSL encryption for networking
- OpenSource Linux server model
|
All transactions occurring through the IMP are secure and encrypted.
All media and communications broadcast to the IMPs are accessible
only to the intended audience, and virus-containing mediums are not
supported or recognized by the applications. |
| Application Integration/ Unified Access |
| AppWares allows clients to quickly integrate enterprise
applications and content sources. These include web-based applications,
databases, desktop applications and CRM applications. |
Through application integration, an IMP brings together all or part
of the resources end-users require. The IMP aggregates information
sources into a single desktop interface. |
| Self Propagation |
| Any AppWares application and the associated communications
network are designed to allow for monitored self-propagation. |
This feature is invaluable to any program where the success of an
initiative is evaluated on the distribution of a product. |
