⁹A Multi-User Dungeon is a multi-user real-time virtual world, played using a text or graphical interface, modeled after the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. The acronym originated from a game published by Trubshaw (1978) of the same name (Kelly & Rheingold 1993).
