Although the ACFs are already ``derived'' from the integrated beam sequences, they have to be processed further to generate Doppler velocities, velocity maps or other data products. There are two quite different approaches to the data analysis of the Doppler velocities and both will be discussed in the following sections. Figure 3.6 gives an example of the type of functions that have to be analyzed.
